The Rutgers Business School Joins as a Platinum Sponsor!
We are incredibly excited to announce that the Rutgers Business School–Newark and New Brunswick has joined our team as one of our largest sponsors at the Platinum level!
Since its inception in 1929, the Rutgers Business School has been a trailblazer in both the corporate and academic world, and this new partnership exemplifies the revolutionary spirit that has led this institution since the beginning. As the corporate world moves towards a more sustainable and socially conscious mindset, it is important that the institutions training the next generation of entrepreneurs instill those values into their students; and RBS is doing just that. By supporting programs like the Rutgers Solar Car Team, the school gives students the opportunity for students to apply what they learn inside the classroom to the real world, making an impact that will reverberate far beyond the Rutgers campus.
As a large multidisciplinary organization, we pride ourselves on the diversity of majors and skillsets represented by our team. Alongside the School of Engineering, we have members in five of the six RBS majors, studying business analytics and information technology, finance, marketing, supply chain management, and accounting. These students are indispensable in the functioning of the team, from producing content for our social media feeds to executing the logistics and day-to-day operations for solar car races.
Alongside working on the corporate aspects of the team, the RBS students also maintain and advance the educational outreach initiatives launched by RU Solar, partnering with the New Brunswick Public Schools to use the solar car as a tool for educational programs. In this the Rutgers Business School has also been incredibly supportive, helping to foster a closer-knit community in New Brunswick.
